Download the latest release. Do NOT download the repository as ZIP, that won't work, make sure you download the LATEST RELEASE. Extract the archive and copy the files from the latest release into root folder of the game, where h1_sp64_ship.exe is located. Launch the game with h1-mod-gfl.bat, or alternatively h1-mod.exe and load GFL mod in game.
There's presumably a lot of shared files (e.g. gun models, map data that's used for both a campaign level & multiplayer map), so -technically- the campaign is 60+ GB, but only 16GB of that is unique to it and not re-used in the multiplayer. Iirc, Steam considers any shared files to be part of whichever game was installed more recently, so the lARYgW.
