Pull your car battery too. there is a new update for Hyundai Cars please update your car tp latest. i have 2021 sonata and now after this update its working fine where my unit used to disconnect a lot now its fine. I have a 21 Elantra and I was able to fix this issue by restarting the infotainment system.

Apple CarPlay will not launch in NX after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you haven’t allowed access in the settings. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and select your vehicle name under MY CAR. Then turn on the slider button next to ‘Allow CarPlay While Locked’. Settings > General > CarPlay > Your Car Name
Theres no wireless carplay but you can connect vis the front usb . When I first set mine up I used cafele usb cable with an apple lightening lead it worked initially they kept dropping out and back to the radio. You need an authentic apple usb cable and it should work fine.
